ISO's Technical Committee no.176, Sub-committee no.2 (ISO/TC 176/SC 2)
is responsible for the development of the ISO 9001 and ISO 9004 International
Standards as well as other International Standards and documents in the ISO 9000
Family.
The Secretariat of ISO/TC 176/SC 2 is provided by the Bristish Standards Institution (BSI).

2. Advice and information on ISO
9001 and ISO 9004
Since the publication of ISO 9001 and ISO 9004,
ISO/TC 176/SC2 has been developing and periodically releasing supporting
guidance documents to assist users of these standards. These guidance
documents have been collected into an 'Introduction and Support Package' and
are further supplemented by a set of "frequently asked questions".
Additionally, “Implementation
Guidance” has been developed to support the advent of the new edition of
ISO 9001.
