Installation of the ISO template for Autocad 14
IMPORTANT — If you work on a network, do not perform the installation yourself; ask your network administrator.

The ISO template for Autocad 14 is supplied as a compressed archive file (ZIP file) containing the following files:

To install the ISO template for Autocad 14, download the archive to a folder of your choice on the hard disk of your computer. Extract the files from the archive to the places indicated below.

IMPORTANT — Some of the above-mentioned files will replace existing files of the original setup. If deemed necessary, perform a backup of the original files before performing the installation of the ISO template.

The file GABARISO.DWT shall be saved in the directory AUTOCAD R14\TEMPLATE.

The files GREEKS.SHX and ISOCP.SHX shall be saved in the directory where SHX fonts are located (generally AUTOCAD R14\FONTS) – to determine the directory where SHX fonts are located, select the Tools menu, chose Preferences to display the Preferences dialog box, select the Files tab and expand the Support File Search Path branch by clicking on the plus sign (+) directly to the left of the label.

The other files (named ACAD*.*) shall be saved in the directory AUTOCAD R14\SUPPORT.

Remove the files ACAD.MNC, ACAD.MNR et ACAD.MNS from the directory AUTOCAD R14\SUPPORT.

Use of the ISO template for Autocad 14
The template must be invoked using the New command in the File menu of AutoCAD and selecting the file GABARISO.DWT.

Submission of technical queries

  1. Version and language of AutoCAD and make, version and language of operating system [e.g. AutoCAD 2000i (English) on Windows NT4.0 (English)] used.
  2. Version of the ISO AutoCAD template.
  3. Working context of the problem.
  4. Precise error message, if any (normally in standard Message box), or description of the incorrect behaviour.
